It’s the result of a complex design that combines a lower CG with strong, custom-engineered lofts and a thinner face that gives you up to 2 more mph of ball speed – leading to significant distance gains without compromising PING’s famous forgiveness. A clean look with shorter hosel helps lower the CG and align it with the force line to increase ball speed and ensure solid impact, especially low on the face.

PURFLEX
Seven flex zones allow for more free bending to increase ball speed across the face for longer results with a solid feel and pleasing impact sound.

FORGIVING SOLE DESIGN
Approximately 1º additional bounce throughout the set ensures clean turf interaction and pure strikes, minimizing “heavy” shots that come up short.

2+ MPH FASTER FACE
Hyper 17-4 stainless steel strengthens the face, allowing for more face flexing that generates increased distance and a higher max height to hold shots on the green.

CUSTOM-ENGINEERED LOFTS
Stronger lofts across the set resulted in the addition of a 41° PW to ensure proper gapping options and allowed for standard lofts in the traditional scoring wedges (45.5°, 54°, 56°, 58°).

PING ALTA QUICK SHAFT
The lighter ALTA Quick (35/45) shaft is one component of the HL (High Launch) build that includes a 41-gram Lamkin UTx grip, and lighter toe and tip weights in the head, all designed to help slower-swing-speed players increase clubhead speed and ball velocity.
